Jurisdictions

Where a record can apply

Fifteen-plus MENA markets, with the GCC bloc at the core. A regulation is filed against one jurisdiction, and separately against the list of countries it actually applies to — so a GSO standard adopted unevenly is still findable from each member state.

What kind of product a record is about

Four categories and their sub-categories. Select a sub-category to see everything it includes. A horizontal regulation can be filed against several at once, so a labelling rule shows up under every category it binds.

What isn't here yet

The honest half of a coverage page.

No automated feedSijil does not subscribe to any authority's publication stream. Every record is a document someone obtained, uploaded, and verified by hand — which is the point, and also the limit.
Not every documentThe register is narrower than the regulatory landscape. If something you need is missing, ask — requests are how the queue gets prioritised.
Copyrighted sourcesSome standards cannot be redistributed at all. Those records carry the verified summary and the reports, and link out to the authority's own purchase page for the text.
Arabic bodies, English chromeArabic regulation text is stored and displayed right-to-left, and summaries are written in both languages. The interface chrome translates; untranslated English page bodies are deliberately not flipped into RTL.
